Bargain and sale by the Right Honorable Sir Henry Sidney, K.G. and Lord President of the Queen Majesty's Council in the March of Wales, and Ralph Knyght, gentleman, to Rycharde Garth of the parish of Sainte Dunstons in the Weste in London, esq., in consideration of the sum of £344 8s., of land [acreage and bounds supplied] in Marton (Surrey), and in Marton Mycham and Morden (Surrey), some being late of the dissolved priory of Marton and leased out by Henry VIII and Edward VI and quitclaimed by her Majesty the Queen, the bargainer to hold of the Queen as of the manor of Greenwich in socage, by fealty and not in chief. Given 14 May, 6 Elizabeth [I]. Endorsed with a note of enrollment on the dorse of the Close Roll; signed "Garth."
